GENERAL CASTING CALL

Compensation: reel footage, possibility of profit share down the line depending on the project’s success.
Must be able to self-transport to GTA. Most shoot dates will take place in Scarborough.

SEEKING PERFORMERS:


The Gallery is accepting submissions for general auditions for our first season. Shooting is scheduled to begin shortly after public gathering recommendations are loosened.


Seeking non-union, volunteer performers (actors, singers, dancers, musicians, etc.) for various roles speaking and non speaking.


Performers should be based in Toronto, or able to travel to Toronto for shoot dates.


This is an unpaid opportunity, however, should the project make any money, all involved will be remunerated in some capacity. Reel footage will be provided.


To submit: please submit a self tape no longer than 5 minutes that shows you off best. If you do any of the following, please include:


Singers: A 32 bar (1 min) cut of a contemporary musical theatre song


Dancers: A 45-90 sec combination


Musicians: A 32 bar (1 min) cut of any solo repertoire you may have.


Actors: A 1-2 minute contemporary comedic monologue


Any special skills/weird talents you may have (tumbling, juggling, unicycling, impressions, contortion, etc.) Anything wacky or fun is appreciated!


Please also include a slate shot stating your name, your height, and where you are located.


Submit all tapes to thegallerywebseriesinfo@gmail.com no later than May 3rd, 2020.


Only those selected will be contacted.


If you have previously submitted for The Gallery, we will contact you if we are considering you for additional roles.


Visible minorities are highly encouraged to submit. Submissions are encouraged from all demographics and identities.
